  • 6 apples, sliced thin
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. nut meats

Directions

    Mix apples with 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and arrange in pie shell.

    Mix brown sugar and flour; cut in butter until mixture is like meal.

    Add nuts and sprinkle mixture over apples.

    Bake at 400° for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 375° and cook 30 minutes longer until done.
