- unbaked pastry for a one crust pie
- about 6 c. pared and sliced pie apples
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. flour
Directions

1Toss together the apples, cinnamon and sugar.

2Place the apple mixture in the pie crust.

3Cream together the butter and brown sugar.

4Use a pastry blender or 2 knives to combine the flour with the creamed mixture until the mixture becomes crumbly.

5Top the pie with this crumbly mixture.

6Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes (until bubbly and lightly browned).
