- 3 tbs[ butter
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 None medium apples, peeled, cored, thickly sliced
- 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°F. Stir butter, sugar, cream, and cinnamon in medium saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved; bring to a boil. Add apples, reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, without stirring, for 5 mins, or until apple is tender. Spread into 9-inch pie dish.

2Cut 9 1/2-inch round from pastry sheet; place on top of apple mixture. Bake for 20 mins, or until pastry is browned lightly.

3Stand for 5 mins. Turn tart, apple-side up, on to serving plate.
