French Bread Dinner

- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 c. mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Slice off top of Italian bread.

2Hollow out interior of loaf and set aside.

3Brown beef, onion, celery, salt and pepper; drain. Mix together beef mixture, mushrooms, mustard, evaporated milk, bread crumbs from Italian bread and egg.

4Place mixture into Italian bread.

5Cover Italian loaf with aluminum foil.

6Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

7Serves 4 to 5.
