- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- cinnamon
Directions

1Grease 12 muffin cups.

2Mix thoroughly the shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk.

3Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 20 to 25 minutes.

4Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

5Immediately, after baking, roll muffins in butter, then in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Enjoy.
