- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3 to 4 c. fresh fruit, sliced
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Melt margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish in preheated oven.

3In a medium-sized bowl, mix flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, baking powder and milk together.

4Pour over the melted margarine in the baking pan.

5Place the sliced, fresh fruit on top of the batter.

6Sprinkle 3/4 cup granulated sugar and optional cinnamon over the fruit.

7Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

8This is excellent served with vanilla ice cream.
