  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream

    Cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well between additions.

    Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

    Alternately add sifted ingredients and sour cream to mixture; blend together.
