French Fried Apple Rings

  • 2 or 3 large apples (any variety, firm textured will do)
  • 1 envelope (any brand) pancake batter mix (use less liquid than called for and make a thick batter)

Directions

    Core and peel apples and slice into rings.

    Dip apple rings in batter and fry until golden brown, each side turning once.
