French Fried Cauliflower

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
  • shortening (for frying pan)

Directions

    Parboil the cauliflower 10 minutes. Cool and separate into flowerets. Dip each piece into eggs and crumbs, then in eggs and crumbs again. Fry until golden brown.
