French Onion Soup

- 3 to 4 medium onion, thinly sliced (3 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth (about 2 1/2 c.)
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- sliced hard rolls or French bread
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook onions in butter until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Add beef broth, water and Worcestershire sauce.

2Simmer 20 minutes.

3Sprinkle sliced hard rolls or French bread generously with Parmesan cheese.

4Broil until lightly browned.

5Float atop each serving of soup.
