  • 1 loaf French bread
  • butter
  • oregano
  • garlic powder
  • your favorite cheese
  • 4 potatoes
  • milk
  • creamy Italian dressing
  • 2 cans creamed corn

Directions

    Cut bread in half lengthwise, and tear out some of the inside, leaving a shallow indentation.

    Spread with butter, sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.

    Slice cheese, layer on top.

    Reserve peel and boil potatoes, about 20 minutes, add milk, butter and salad dressing to taste, mash.

    Put bread in 325° oven for 10 minutes.

    Heat creamed corn in saucepan over medium heat.

    When bread is warm and cheese is melted, remove from oven.

    Cover with mashed potatoes, spoon creamed corn liberally over all.
