  • 4 egg whites, beat stiff
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. instant coffee

Directions

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Add cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar.

    Fold in 1/2 cup sugar, pecans, 1/4 cup cocoa and vanilla. Pour into lightly greased pie plate.

    Bake 25 to 35 minutes at 325°.
