French Style Quiche

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/16 tsp. cayenne
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 to 1 c. cheese
  • pie crust

Directions

    Whisk eggs, sour cream, half and half and seasonings together.

    Sprinkle cheese (I prefer Swiss, but any shredded cheese is fine) on bottom of unbaked pie crust.

    Pour egg mixture over top.

    Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce oven temperature to 300° and continue to bake for 40 minutes.
