French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 c. or 8 oz. carton egg substitute (any brand)
  • 1/4 c. skim or 1% milk
  • 6 to 8 slices white bread (not too fresh)

Directions

    In a bowl, lightly whip together egg substitute and milk. Place mixture in a shallow dish.

    Dip bread slices, one at a time, into mixture.
  3. 3
    Place on a baking tray that has been greased with some type of butter flavored baking spray or butter flavored Crisco.

    Bake at 350° until bread is golden brown.
  5. 5
    You may also fry over medium heat until a golden brown, if preferred.
