  • 2 c. diced, fresh apples
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix the apples and sugar thoroughly.

    Add the oil, nuts, egg and vanilla.

    Mix the remaining ingredients and add to the first mixture.

    Put in Pammed 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until it shrinks from edges of pan and is brown. If you bake in a Pyrex pan, lower temperature 20°.
