Ingredients: 1/4 c. vegetable oil; 2 c. sugar; 3 eggs, well beaten; 3 c. fresh apples, peeled, cored and chopped (any type); 1 c. chopped pecans; 3 c. flour, sifted 3 times; 1 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. soda; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. nutmeg; 1/4 tsp. allspice; 2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
3 c. fresh apples, peeled, cored and chopped (any type)
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. flour, sifted 3 times
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine oil, sugar and eggs in large bowl.

Add apples and stir.

Add nuts, flour, salt, soda and spices.

Stir well.

Add vanilla.

Pour into 9 x 13-inch cake pan which has been greased and the bottom lined with waxed paper.

Put cake into cold oven. Turn temperature to 325°.

Turn oven on and bake 1 hour or until done.
