  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 c. apples, grated
  • 1 c. pecans (optional)

Directions

    Sift together flour, soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.

    Set aside.

    Beat until fluffy, sugar and oil.

    Mix all together; add eggs and add apples.

    Mix well.

    Pour in cake pan.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
