  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 c. peeled, chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix oil, eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla and pinch of salt together; beat well.
  2. 2
    Add apples and chopped pecans and mix well. Pour batter in greased tube pan and bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

    Punch holes in cake with a fork and pour Glaze over cake while cake is hot.
