  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg and/or cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Mix apples, sugar and nuts and let stand for 1 hour.

    Stir occasionally so it makes a juice.

    Mix remaining ingredients together.

    Add to apple mixture.

    Bake in tube pan at 350° until done.
