- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, one at a time
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. coconut milk
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Sift flour and baking powder.

4Add alternately with sifted flour the coconut milk, shredded coconut and vanilla.

5Bake in two 9-inch pans or a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes.

6Plain milk
