  • 1 baked (9-inch) pie crust
  • 1 qt. fruit (fresh)
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
  • dash of salt
  • 3 oz. box Jell-O (according to the kind of fruit, blueberry or lemon Jell-O)

    Put fruit into baked pie shell.

    Cook sugar, cornstarch, water, white karo and salt until transparent.

    Add Jell-O.

    Remove from heat and let set until mixture gels.

    Pour over fruit and refrigerate until set.

    Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
