  • 1 1/2 cups tightly packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1 California green chile, seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon peeled, grated gingerroot
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

    Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add all ingredients, and process 30 seconds or until mixture is finely chopped. Transfer to a small bowl. Cover and chill 1 hour.
