  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/3 lb. fresh mushrooms (regular, shiitake or a combination), coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. dry sherry or chicken broth
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley

Directions

    In a wide frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.

    Add mushrooms and onion and cook, stirring often, until mushrooms are browned (about 15 minutes).

    Mix in sherry.
