"Fresh" Peach Pie

  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. dried peach jello

Directions

    Mix oil, salt, sugar, milk and flour together with an electric mixer.

    Press into pie plate.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven; cool.

    Mix sugar, water, cornstarch and dried jello in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cool.

    Stir in 6 sliced peaches.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Cool completely.

    Serve with whipped cream.
