- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pineapple (cored and cut into 3/4-inch slices, then in quarters.)
- oil, for frying
Directions

1Sift the flour together with the baking powder and salt.

2Combine the eggs with milk and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
