- 4 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 baked pie shell
Directions

1Crush 1 cup berries in small saucepan and bring to a boil with 1 1/2 cups water.

2Lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

3Strain berries through a small mesh strainer or cheesecloth, reserving juice.

4Return juice to saucepan and add sugar and cornstarch.

5Boil for 3 minutes.

6Allow to cool.

7Fill baked pie shell with 3 cups fresh berries.

8Pour the juice mixture over the berries and chill.
