  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. table salt
  • 4 medium carrots, sliced thin diagonally
  • 2 medium zucchini, cut in 2 x 1/2-inch sticks
  • 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, softened

Directions

    About 15 minutes before serving, bring to boil water and 1/2 teaspoon of table salt in large saucepan.

    Add vegetables; cover and simmer 5 to 8 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp. Drain well.

    Spoon into serving dish.

    Stir in remaining table salt and butter.
