- 1/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/3 c. light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Peel, core and slice apples into thick slices.

3Cook over moderate heat, stirring to prevent sticking, until barely tender.

4Sprinkle with brown sugar and lemon juice.

5Toss, cover and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
