- 3 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 6 c. cabbage, cut into thin wedges
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 pinch white sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Directions

1Place bacon in a large, deep skillet.

2Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown.

3Remove bacon, and set aside.

4Cook onion in the hot bacon grease until tender.

5Add cabbage, and stir in water, sugar, salt, and pepper.

6Cook until cabbage wilts, about 15 minutes.

7Stir in bacon.

8Splash with vinegar before serving.
