  • 2 pounds catfish fillets
  • 1/4 box breading Shore Lunch(R) Fish, Mix Cornmeal Recipe
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 4 cups vegetable oil

Directions

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large stockpot to 375 °F.

    Add the Shore Lunch(R) Fish Breading Mix and Old Bat seasoning to a shallow dish

    Dredge each piece of catfish into the breading mixture and press to coat.

    Add the catfish to the oil and fry in batches for 4-6 minutes.

    Carefully remove the catfish from the oil using long handled metal tongs and place directly onto a paper towel lined plate.

    Serve immediately.
