Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
  • fine coconut or walnuts, chopped

Directions

    Combine in heavy pan the butter, sugar, dates and eggs.

    Cook until well mixed and darker in color.
  3. 3
    Cool and add vanilla and Rice Krispies.
  4. 4
    Grease hands and form into balls about the size of a walnut.
  5. 5
    Roll in coconut or nuts.
