- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- fine coconut or walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Combine in heavy pan the butter, sugar, dates and eggs.

2Cook until well mixed and darker in color.

3Cool and add vanilla and Rice Krispies.

4Grease hands and form into balls about the size of a walnut.

5Roll in coconut or nuts.
