- 6 pieces bacon, fried
- 10 fresh ears corn
- milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Fry bacon; set aside.

2Leave fat from bacon in skillet.

3Hold ear of corn perpendicular to cutting board.

4With sharp knife, slice downward, cutting off tip ends of kernels, then scrape milk out of remaining kernels.

5Heat bacon fat in skillet.

6Add scraped corn and kernel tips.

7Fry lightly for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

8Add enough milk to make creamed corn consistency. Add butter.

9Cook another 5 minutes.

10Add salt and pepper to taste.

11Pour in serving dish and sprinkle crushed bacon over all. Serves 6.
