- 6 to 12 ears fresh corn
- 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. green and red bell pepper, chopped
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp or bacon bits (optional)
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- water
- oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut off tips of corn kernels into a large bowl.

2Add salt and pepper.

3Sprinkle flour over the corn and mix well.

4Set aside. Chop peppers and set aside.

5Fry bacon until crisp; drain.

6Heat oil enough to cover bottom of a 10-inch skillet.

7Add the butter and margarine and melt over medium heat.

8Add corn; stir.
