- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 heaping Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 c. milk

1Mix all together.

2A cast-iron skillet works best.

3Add some oil to lightly cover bottom.

4Get hot. Drop 1 tablespoon of batter in three areas of skillet.

5Will cook like pancakes.

6When bubbles form and edges turn brown, flip with a spatula.

7Brown on that side.

8Take up.

9Add more oil for next three cornbread. Continue until done.

10Makes about 21 circles.
