- 3 slices bacon
- 2 cups crabmeat (lump and claw)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 12 cup hot water
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Fry the bacon in a skillet.

2In a bowl, combine the crabmeat, onion, bell pepper, and celery.

3Set the bacon aside and fry the crab and vegetable mixture in the drippings in the skillet, stirring often, until the crab begins to brown.

4Crumble the bacon and add to the skillet, along with 1/2 cup hot water.

5Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

7Add salt and pepper to taste.

8Serve over rice, grits, or biscuits.
