  • 5 or 6 ears fresh corn, shucked, washed and cut off
  • 4 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. meal
  • salt to taste

    Heat grease in skillet on medium heat.

    Add corn, flour, meal and salt.

    Cover with water.

    Cut butter up into corn.

    Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking, until corn is done.
