- 1 large can condensed milk

Directions

1Use a large iron skillet over slow heat.

2Dissolve or melt 1 cup sugar.

3When completely dissolved, add 1/3 of the milk.

4Stir until the caramel disappears.

5Add 1 cup sugar.

6Cook until dissolved.

7Add 1/3 more milk.

8Boil.

9Add last cup of sugar. When boiling good, add last 1/3 of milk.

10Cook stirring all the time until a little tried in cold water forms a soft ball.

11Remove from fire.

12Cool.

13Stir or beat until shine begins to leave.

14Add nuts and pour in greased plate.
