Fried Green Onions

- 10 to 12 medium green onions, chopped
- 4 to 6 slices bacon
- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch or enough to thicken
- 1/2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook bacon in skillet, remove bacon and add green onions, cook 2 or 3 minutes.

2Dissolve cornstarch in milk and add to onion mixture.

3Cook until thick and season to taste.

4This is excellent with cornbread.
