- 4 medium-size green tomatoes
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
Directions

1Wash tomatoes and cut into 3/4-inch thick slices.

2Mix flour, salt and pepper.

3Dip tomato slices into flour mixture.

4Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet.

5Add tomato slices, cook over medium heat (turning once) until golden brown.
