- 1 pound green tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Dash Tabasco sauce
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- Flour for dredging
- 1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
- Peanut or safflower oil for frying
Directions

1Slice the tomatoes.

2Sprinkle the slices with soy, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.

3Place the flour in a bowl or plastic bag and mix in the paprika.

4Heat half an inch of oil in a large skillet, when the oil is hot, dredge a few slices of tomato in the flour and fry them in one layer, turning them once.

5Drain on paper towels and keep warm until all the tomatoes are cooked.
