- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. water
- 32 large mushrooms
- 1 c. Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil
- tartar sauce
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and pepper in small bowl; set aside. Combine eggs, oil and water; mix well.

2Wash mushrooms.

3Dredge mushrooms in flour mixture and dip in egg mixture.

4Roll in breadcrumbs.

5Chill 1 1/2 hours.

6Deep-fry mushrooms in hot oil until golden brown.

7Drain on paper towel.

8Yields 32 appetizers. Serve with tartar sauce.
