- 2 lb. fresh okra, sliced
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Mix flour, meal, salt and pepper.

2Roll okra in mixture.

3Fry in heavy frypan that has 1/2 inch hot oil.

4Add okra and turn heat to medium.

5Watch closely as will burn easily.

6When brown, remove and serve.
