Fried Onion Rings

- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 large onions
Directions

1Heat 1-inch of oil in a skillet.

2Mix flour and salt; add milk, oil and egg.

3Beat until smooth.

4Cut onions into 1/4-inch thick slices and separate into rings.

5Dip each ring into batter (drain excess batter over bowl) and drop a few at a time into hot oil heated to 375°.

6Cook until golden brown; drain on paper towels.

7These may be cooled, wrapped and frozen.

8Reheat in a 350° oven about 5 minutes.
