  • 3 large tart apples
  • 2 Tbsp. drippings
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water

    Cook onions slowly in drippings until nearly tender.

    Add apples (sliced), water and salt.

    Cook until apples are soft.
