- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. warm water
- grated cheese
- spaghetti or pizza sauce
- pizza toppings (optional)
- oil (for frying)
Directions

1Mix dough (flour, salt, shortening and water).

2Let rest a few minutes.

3Preheat oil to 365°.

4Roll dough into rounds.

5Put 1 tablespoon sauce and 1 tablespoon cheese in middle of circle of dough.

6Fold dough over; seal edges.

7Other toppings can be added to sauce and cheese.

8Fry 3 minutes, turning once until pizzas are golden brown.
