- 1 cottontail
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 ??? lard
Directions

1Cut rabbit into pieces.

2Put in skillet and saute in lard. When brown, remove and cool pieces.

3Beat eggs.

4Dip rabbit in egg and then into bread crumbs.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Fry until brown.

7Remove rabbit from pan and slowly add flour and milk.

8Stir until gravy thickens.

9Pour over rabbit and serve.
