- 1 1/4 c. regular long grain rice
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Melt margarine in shallow skillet with lid.

2Add onion and saute.

3Add rice and fry, stirring frequently until has white porcelain appearance (do not brown).

4Add crumbled chicken cubes and salt.

5Stir well. Add water, stir well, cover and cook over medium heat until rice is tender (approximately 20 minutes).

6Do not stir while rice is cooking.

7Yields 6 servings.
