- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- additional oil for frying
- 12 large squash blossoms or blooms
Directions

1In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic and cumin.

2In another bowl beat egg, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.

3In skillet, heat 2 inches of oil to 375°.

4Dip blossoms into batter and fry in oil a few at a time until crispy.

5Drain on paper towels.

6Serve warm.
