  • 4 large tomatoes (almost green), sliced thick
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • salt and pepper
  • oil (for frying)
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

    Heat the oil in skillet.

    Dip tomato slices in egg, then in flour.

    Brown on both sides.

    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese, if desired.
