- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground veal
- 3 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. flour plus 1/3 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. milk
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- oil for frying
Directions

1Combine beef and veal; add potatoes and onion.

2Add 1 1/2 cups flour and mix well.

3Add egg, milk, salt and pepper and stir until well blended.

4Shape into 30 balls using about 2 tablespoons of mixture for each ball.

5Roll balls in remaining 1/3 cup flour. Fry in hot oil until brown.

6Drain well.

7Serve with stewed potatoes.
